Air1 Recap
Here's a quick recap of the Air1 interview this morning:

- Steve, Charlie, and Matt were interviewed. Dan was on vocal rest due to an illness.
- The title of Dan's children's book is Magnificent Me, and it will be released in September to major bookstores (thanks to Jarchive's own Lizzy "inajar" for asking!).
- There is a Blood:Water tie-in with the searchwithjars website, so keep searching!
- Ladies, Gabe Ruschival is single.
- The band discussed the studio atmosphere for recording Christmas Songs.
- The full recording of the new song Peace is Here was aired
- The band played impromptu sing-along versions of Flood, Love Song For A Savior, and Dead Man with Charlie on piano and Steve on "mouth trumpet." The DJ's did their best to provide lead vocals.
- Steve and Charlie shared a few thoughts on Lindsay Lohan, and how every human can identify on some level with Lohan's plight. Charlie commented on the popular tendency intead to ostracize and judge Lohan as a means of self-reassurement (i.e. "Thank God I'm not Lindsay Lohan this week!"). Steve reminded listeners that there is no "sliding scale" when it comes to the Gospel, and "we all have the same need."
- The band discussed Blood:Water Mission's "two rescues:" for those in need from a lack of rescources, and for Americans from trivia in the light of what really matters.
- The band likes iPhones, but they think they're too expensive
- When asked about whether Harry Potter was acceptable reading, the band shared how they believe the truth of the Gospel can be reflected in all kinds of art, Christian or not. They stressed parents' responsiblility to develop "tools of discernment" in a child for when they are presented with something contrary to their beliefs.
- The band asked for prayers for Dan, who has an ear, nose, and throat infection.
- The band reiterated that $1 provides clean water for one African for a year.

Thank you Mike for writing the most important parts of the interview. I wear hearing aids and cannot really "make out" what is said without lips to read, so radio interviews are foreign language to me. This helped me to be in the know along with my hearing counterparts.
