Christmas Songs Preview & Audio Samples at JFH
New Christmas projects seldom sound quite this elaborate or lush, with the traditional covers revived in often brand new ways and originals having simply fun or beautifully reflective tones. After several listens, the initial wonder has not waned... This just may be the best modern Christmas album to come along in a long, long time.

Go read the entire (p)review and listen to samples of each track here. Thanks goes to Jeremy for finding this one.

Wow. I'm not sure what I expected...maybe I've learned to expect the unexpected from Jars...lol. It's fresh and it's awesome! The way they take an old classic and make it theirs is pure genius.

I can't wait to hear the full versions of the new songs, but I like what I hear on the clips. I had to listen to Hibernation Day a couple of times and let it sink in. I like the playful lyrics and love the horn!

I can't wait to get the CD so I can memorize all the new songs before the Greenville and Myrtle Beach shows...lol. Must...sing...along (said in my best William Shatner).
